Has anyone ever heard of a dog food that is meat free AND grain free? My dog is supposedly allergic to grain, chicken, and beef. I tried feeding her food that was salmon, pea, and pumpkin, but her allergic reactions seemed to have gotten worse. So I'm guessing she's allergic to the salmon as well. I want to take her off all meat to see if that helps, but if she really is allergic to grain as well, where do I find grain free vegan food?

suggest You start looking for a new vet. One that took more the the required 2 hours of nutrition. My vet encouraged a vegan diet for my allergic to everything, IBD, Pancreatitis dog. The change was amazing.

Same here ... I've even gotten strange looks when I tell the vet that both of my dogs are vegan. But to tell you the truth, they are so much healthier now. Their coats are healthy & shinny and they both have healthy digestive systems.

It's funny, people look at me like I'm from another planet when I say my dogs are vegan. I've lived (thrived) on a plant based diet for 45 years and my dogs do as well. I am very careful about their nutritional needs as I am my own and they do wonderfully.
Thank you for taking the time and effort to assemble this information and supporting narrative. Perhaps more people will open their minds to the reality of animals feeding animals and the horrors surrounding the practice.

My husband and I have run a rescue for Homeless Dogs, Cats, Ferrets Rabbits and others for 20 Plus Years.
We feed our guests Evolution Vegan Cat & Dog Foods every day with fresh ground Organic Chia Seed or Fresh Ground Flax Seed for Omega 3 Fatty Acids.
We also add freshly cut Organic Kale & shredded Carrot to their Vegan Evolution Pet Foods.
We also sprinkle a little Olive Oil and Nutritional Yeast on our Pet's Foods for extra health & flavor.
All Evolution Pet Foods are 100% Complete Protein, Fatty Acids, Vitamins & Minerals for All Life Stages of Cats & Dogs, so you can feed Evolution Kibble or Moist Canned Foods to either Dogs &/or Cats. Evolution goes to the extra cost of adding all the necessary Cat Nutrients to all their Moist & Dry Pet Foods. That is a huge advantage if you have Cats & Dogs in your home since they often eat each other's foods.
Evolution supports local & distant financially challenged People with free Evolution Pet Food. Evolution also sells their Pet Foods at cost to at least 12 Vegan Cat & Dog Sanctuaries around the US & Canada.
Evolution has special Discounts for 1st time buyers and gives a 20% Discount off all Dry Kibble Foods on the 1st Wed. of every month so People can always get a great deal for this very dedicated Vegan Co.
